A note from me....
I'm Jamie Howard, director and founder of Howard home and property.
Since i was a boy, I have been working in construction in some form or other, fortunately for me I had the most amazing teacher...
Victor, my dad and my best friend, held a fantastic reputation as a general builder and boasted 50+ years of experience in construction. Through working with my Dad, I gained experience and knowledge first hand, in multiple trades. His old company slogan, "Built and designed, with the future in mind", is deep rooted in the foundations of my work and the trades that i work with.
Since then, i have been to most major town and cities in the UK, even a few outside of the UK, and worked as a sub-contractor on, quite literally, hundreds of projects. I have seen how large principle contractor companies operate and also worked with lots of small to medium sized builders in both commercial and residential settings.
In July 2019, i finally made the decision to create Howard home and property, or as it was briefly known then, Howard home property services.
The journey since then has been swift, with so many great projects to look back on.
I am immensely proud of what the company has become. The family of trades i now spend most of my days with carry that same level of care and foresight I have always strived to deliver.
Our Process
Our process is simple...
...We start at the beginning, we provide everything you need in between and we see the project to the end...
Once we have reached the end, we stay just at the end of a phone in case you have any questions, queries or otherwise.
Many of our customers have never had experience with construction. So when it comes to having an extension added, a full renovation undertaken on a new purchase or a kitchen ripped out and refurbished it tends to be quite daunting. Big questions arise about planning, building regs, budget, timescales etc etc.
Our aim is to provide a "turnkey", "one-stop shop" solution.
What we offer...
Pre-construction Design
If you haven't already instructed an architect, we can provide a full design package. (RIBA approved)
Taking care of planning and Building control too.
Design & Construction Estimate
Once the designs are finalised and planning has been agreed, we can create a detailed estimate for the work.
Construction
We have all the trades needed to fulfill the design plan and make your project a reality.
Specialist contractors can be included into our project management too.
The Finishing
Touches
Once the project is complete, we go through a detailed handover and demonstration. making sure you are familiar with you brand new space!

Our close team of trades, are selected for their high standards of workmanship and conscientious approach to our customers projects. This means we are very confident that the product we deliver will not fail to make you smile, however if in the unlikely event, you aren't happy with anything., we welcome your feedback and promise to do everything in our power to put it right.
We won't sign off the project until our customer is happy.
